Lathe reads the corpora the suite already keeps for the signature of a missing tool, then guards the playbook a new one is born from.

It proposes; Helm dispatches the build. Lathe is itself run by hand today, the very practice it is meant to automate.
02Its place on the control plane
On the propose plane, Lathe proposes a graduation and the actuate plane’s Helm dispatches the build. It shares the plane with Concord, Gimbal, Compass and Tally, each surfacing a change and writing none.
